General terms and conditions

Application

The offers on the websites www.scarabello.shop are intended exclusively for consumers.

The following general conditions apply to the contract concluded with consumers through the online shop of Scarabello.shop Consumenten zijn natuurlijke personen met wie een contractuele relatie kan worden gesloten zonder dat hen een commerciële of zelfstandige beroepsactiviteit kan worden toegeschreven.

Applicable law

This contract is governed by Dutch law and, more specifically, by the rules on online and distance sales.

The order

Confirmation and acceptance of the order are made on the basis of the data provided by the customer in successive screen pages. These data appear on a summary screen that explicitly states the buyer’s firm commitment. Orders will be confirmed by e-mail indicating the identity and details of ScaraBello, including an e-mail address to which the client can send any requests. The confirmation e-mail contains the reference of the item and the total price including shipping.

Shipping information

ScaraBello delivers worldwide. For an order to be processed, invoice and delivery address must be in the same country. Delivery times are considered agreed only insofar as they are in writing. The delivery period starts when the order is received.

The delivery time is approximately 10 to 15 working days for EU countries. For countries outside the EU, the delivery time is beyond the seller’s control. If the goods cannot be delivered for reasons for which the seller is not responsible, additional delivery costs may be charged.

ScaraBello has taken the best care in packaging your order, using reinforced boxes sealed with guaranteed tape to ensure the best protection of the delivered piece and its gift box.

Packaging

Each ScaraBello item comes in a luxurious tin box, ensuring premium product presentation.

Payment

Payments are made in Euro with bank credit card through Mollie security standards.

For European Community countries, VAT is included. For other countries, taxes are not included.

Fixed freight charg es are calculated according to the customer’s location.

MOLLIE – Security for online payments

The Mollie payment solution is designed to meet the security standards for card payments on e-commerce websites. When the customer decides to pay for the order, they are directed to the Mollie platform, which forwards a personalised encrypted page (https) in the exact style of the merchant’s website.

After the card details are entered, undergo consistency checks, pass through the anti-fraud filter and authorisation is requested from the bank card network or issuer (private cards), Mollie redirects the customer to the e-commerce site, resulting in a payment transaction.

Every evening, the Mollie platform performs a telecollection of the day’s transactions and forwards the information to the online payment server of the merchant’s bank, with the bank confirming receipt.

Shipping

ScaraBello ships worldwide. Products are shipped to the address specified by the customer during the ordering process (except to a PO Box). In the event of an error in the details of the address provided, ScaraBello cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of completing the delivery.

For European Community countries, VAT is included. For other countries, any local taxes are not included.

Standard rates

  • Fixed freight charges are calculated according to the customer’s location
  • The Netherlands & Belgium: FREE – Delivery within 5 days.
  • Other Europe (EU) countries & Switzerland: International shipment €10.00 // For orders of €100.00 and more – FREE – Delivery within 10-15 days.
  • Other countries: International shipping €15.00 – Delivery within 15-20 days

• Each item is accompanied by a detailed invoice. You are kindly requested to keep it for any warranty procedure.

Satisfaction or your money back

The main features of each article are detailed in the “specification sheet”. The Customer’s attention is drawn to the fact that the images and colours of the items presented may differ from reality, depending on the Internet navigator or screen.

The customer has a 15-day inspection period (from the shipping date) to return any item and obtain a refund. This period includes the statutory inspection period of 7 days.

The item must be returned in perfect condition, in its original packaging and with all original labels.

The returned item will be refunded to the Customer within a maximum of 30 days from the day of receipt of the return. It is the Customer’s responsibility to properly keep any invoice or receipt confirming the effective return of the product (post office, other…).

Refunds will be made by bank transfer to the account from which payment was initially made (excluding shipping costs).

To exchange an item, the Customer will contact our Customer Service who will indicate the procedure to be followed. Our Customer Service can be reached from Monday to Friday at the following opening hours (10:00 to 17:30) via email:
